Softball practice at Caprock High School is at least
forty-five minutes a day. During this time, our girls try their hardest.
During the forty-five minutes, they try to hit, catch, throw, and run for
conditioning. Most girls have their own equipment like their bats,
gloves, batting gloves, and a bag that has a name of their choice to
carry this equipment. They try their hardest during the school day, so
they can make the grades to play when the softball games start. Their
games start January 1st. Coach Rose helps the girls try to pass their
classes, so they can play for him. He is very supportive of the girls.
Coach Rose is also a volleyball coach. Also, we have Coach Johnson who
is also a wrestling coach; he inspires these girls everyday. Our girl's team has many All-District players, and we are hoping to continue this tradition.
