CAP'ROCKIN HALLOWEEN! by: Veronica Morales and Lindsey Miller
This past week at Caprock High School was Red Ribbon Week,
Oct.30-Nov.3, and Halloween happened to fall in the middle of it. Many
people this year dressed up and showed their drug free/Halloween spirit!
All across campus, people wore costumes from extremely scary to down
right hilarious! Haunted Houses were a popular choice of fun-filled
fright. The cold didn't stop people from getting out and
trick-or-treating. Although some people were stingy with their candy,
others were more generous. Ranging from little Tootsie Rolls to king
size Snicker bars, candy was great. Many people may not know this, but
Halloween started out as a pagan ritual. It has now turned into fun and
games and who has the best and most candy. People also had Halloween
parties where there were extreme displays of this generation's
costumes. Halloween is celebrated annually by the young and old all
across America and the heart of Caprock High School.
