Caprock got new coaches! When Coach Parr became the new head coach, he
hired almost an entire new staff which so far consists of Coach Widner
(head defensive and DB coach), Coach Page (wide receiver coach), and
Coach Ramos (offensive lineman coach). Coach Widner was a former WT coach.
Coach Page was a college wide receiver, and Coach Ramos many of us know
from Bowie Middle School. The new coaches bring a whole new aspect to
the game and the off season. Coach Widner has changed our defense to a
3-4, which completely changes the configuration of our old defense.
Coach Page has our wide receivers working harder than ever catching at
least 100 balls a day. Coach Ramos has our linemen working on foot speed
and technique more and more. And coach Widner is working the Defense in every
aspect trying to teach them the new scheme. And finally, Coach Parr is
working with the quarterbacks a lot. Word on the street is that he wants
to have a dominant passing game.
